Overview

This workshop is designed to help people play to their strengths. Rooted in the principles of strengths-based development and positive psychology, this session aims to enhance wellbeing and performance by encouraging a strengths-focused mindset.  
Some of the topics addressed are:

  • An introduction to talents and strengths.
  • The difference between strengths-based development and deficit-based approaches, and between positive psychology and 'positive thinking'.
  • Understanding weaknesses.

By the end of the session, participants will:

  • Develop a deeper understanding of how to apply their strengths in various scenarios.
  • Create and follow a practical action plan for ongoing development and improvement.
  • Encourage and support others in recognizing and utilizing their strengths.

  • Pre-session: Participants will complete Gallup's CliftonStrengths assessment online (it will take approximately 45 minutes to complete) and bring their report to the session.
