Overview
This workshop is designed to help people play to their strengths. Rooted in the principles of strengths-based development and positive psychology, this session aims to enhance wellbeing and performance by encouraging a strengths-focused mindset.
Some of the topics addressed are:
- An introduction to talents and strengths.
- The difference between strengths-based development and deficit-based approaches, and between positive psychology and 'positive thinking'.
- Understanding weaknesses.
By the end of the session, participants will:
- Develop a deeper understanding of how to apply their strengths in various scenarios.
- Create and follow a practical action plan for ongoing development and improvement.
- Encourage and support others in recognizing and utilizing their strengths.

- Pre-session: Participants will complete Gallup's CliftonStrengths assessment online (it will take approximately 45 minutes to complete) and bring their report to the session.
