Overview

This session is designed to help managers identify the signs of burnout and provide practical guidance and approaches to enable them and their teams to stay productive whilst avoiding burnout and developing higher levels of resilience in their work and careers.
Continual exposure to stressful situations, long hours, uncertainty, and constant change can lead to burnout.
The session will also provide an overview of Imperial's health and wellbeing provision and the available tools and support. 
By the end of the session, participants will: 

  • Understand the concept of burnout and its implications in the workplace.
  • Identify critical elements of resilience.
  • Use strategies to support teams to avoid burnout and stay productive.
