Data and Insight

The Data and Insight team provides data support for the College’s advancement activities. This includes managing Raiser’s Edge, the College’s fundraising and alumni relations database, which currently holds 227,000 constituent records and has eighty users across nine College divisions and faculties. Data and Insight provide a database user training programme which includes inductions for new users, fortnightly seminars and drop-in sessions, and documentation. The team also monitors and enhances data quality, for example, undertaking data cleaning exercises to acquire new data. Data and Insight produce regular reporting on philanthropic activity for a variety of audiences and undertake data analysis to inform the work of teams across the Advancement Division.
