What is the purpose of the Committee?
- To promote equality and diversity in the Department of Aeronautics, taking positive action to address inequalities for the benefit of all staff and students
- To represent the Department of Aeronautics' students and staff with representatives from each student and job family.
- To act as a Departmental forum for matters relating to Equality, Diversity, Culture, Communications and Inclusion
- To implement ideas and actions relating to EDCCI
- To lead on Athena SWAN applications and reports. The Department currently holds a bronze award.
- To monitor, evaluate and improve policies and procedures for improving working practices and for changing culture within the Department.
How can you get involved?
