Get ready for an unforgettable weekend of discovery, creativity and innovation at the Great Exhibition Road Festival (GERF). This annual celebration of science and the arts returns to South Kensington on 7 and 8 June, led by Imperial College London in collaboration with our esteemed neighbouring institutions.

In case you haven't been before, GERF is a weekend of free events for all ages celebrating science and the arts taking place in South Kensington, led by Imperial College London in collaboration with our cultural partners on Exhibition Road. 

Registration for the Festival is now open. Please select an alumni ticket via the Festival's Eventbrite page. If you would like to attend with your family or friends please still use the alumni ticket and adjust the number to match the size of your group. 

Alumni ticket holders and their guests will receive early access to preview the Eureka Zone on Saturday morning before we open to the public. 

Exclusive alumni benefits

As a valued member of our alumni community, you can enjoy exclusive perks when you register using the alumni ticket option by Sunday 6 April, including:

  • Priority booking for a selection of thought-provoking talks exploring robotics, the art of quantum, psychiatric art and more.

  • Early access to the Eureka Zone on Saturday morning before it opens to the public. Beat the crowds and preview Imperial’s cutting-edge projects developed through our pioneering collaborations across Europe - investigating everything from space exploration and robotic construction, to developing cancer therapies.

  • Milestone drop-in on Saturday 7 June with coffee and cupcakes, exclusively for milestone alumni (those who graduated in a year ending in 5 or 0). If you’re a milestone graduate, we’ll contact you with an invitation after you register for the Festival. 

  • Dedicated support if you’d like to reunite with classmates over the weekend – we can let others know you will be on campus. See our reunion planning guidance here.
