Faculty of Natural Sciences
Royal College of Science Association (RCSA)
The RCSA is open to all Imperial alumni who are graduates of the Royal College of Science or Faculty of Natural Sciences and provides a way for RCS members to stay in touch.
The RCSA was set up in 1908 for all students of the Departments of Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Physics (collectively termed the Royal College of Science). The first President was the author H.G Wells, whose books include The Time Machine and War of the Worlds.
All alumni and current students are eligible for membership, as are current or former members of staff in any of the Departments of Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, CEP (Centre for Environmental Policy), Maths or Physics, or the old departments of Geology (in its RCS days), Botany or Zoology.
Members of the RCSA receive mailings approximately three times a year, with news and events listings including an Annual Dinner and AGM.
