The 2015 Festival in review

The 2015 Imperial Festival once again broke records in terms of visitors and participants, as well as expanding into new zones and venues across our South Kensington Campus.

Over 400 researchers and exhibitors from the College and our partner institutes demonstrated the livelier side of science to thousands of people throughout the weekend. The Festival opened on a Sunday for the first time, with thousands of visitors enjoying the extra day of hands-on activities and events.

Another first for the 2015 event was the Science Breakfast, with Department of Life Sciences Professor Pietro Spanu speaking with members of the public over coffee and croissants at a local cafe on Friday 8 May, ahead of the weekend's festivities.

The 2015 Imperial Festival also provided an opportunity for Imperial researchers working on antimicrobial resistance to spark a conversation far beyond the borders of the South Kensington Campus.
