We're giving one of our new students a chance to win some Imperial merchandise and kick-start their journey at Imperial.

To enter:  

1. You must be a new student joining us in the 2024–25 academic year for study at undergraduate or postgraduate level.  

2. You must be following @imperialcollege  and @icunion on Instagram

3. You need to tell us what you are most excited about joining Imperial in the comments to our post about this competition.  
  

The prize includes:  

  • One Imperial College London hoodie – Stanley Stella design in the colour and size of the prizewinner's choice  
  • One Imperial branded Matt Notebook in the colour of the prizewinner’s choice  
  • One 8oz Recycled Tote Bag in the colour of the prizewinner’s choice 
  • One Imperial Baseball Cap  
  • A pair of Imperial branded socks in the colour and size of the prizewinner's choice  

 

The winner will be chosen using a randomiser and announced on our Instagram Stories on Thursday 22 August 2024. 

  
Please enter before 5.00pm (BST) on Friday 16 August 2024 for a chance to win the prize.  Your prize will be available for pick-up from our South Kensington Campus from Friday 4 October 2024. Your prize must be claimed by Friday 18 October 2024.  

Terms and conditions

  1. The prize draw is only open to new students joining us in the 2024–25 academic year for study at undergraduate or postgraduate level. 
  2. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this prize draw.  
  3. The closing date for entries will be 5.00pm (BST) on Friday 16 August 2024. After this date, no further entries to the prize draw will be permitted. 
  4. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason. 
  5. The prize draw will be for an Imperial College London hoodie, Imperial branded Matt Notebook, 8oz Recycled Tote Bag, Imperial Baseball Cap and a pair of Imperial branded socks. A winner will be selected at random. 
  6. We reserve the right to cancel or amend the prize draw and these terms and conditions without notice if any event occurs that is outside our control. 
  7. No cash alternative to the prize will be offered. The prize is not transferable. 
  8. The winner will be notified via Imperial College London’s Instagram Stories on Thursday 22 August 2024. 
  9. If the winners cannot be contacted or do not confirm acknowledgement of the message by 5.00pm on Thursday 5 September 2024, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner. 
  10. Our decision in respect of all matters to do with the prize draw will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. 
  11. By entering the prize draw, an entrant is indicating his/her/their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions. 
  12. Entry into the prize draw will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions. 
  13. Entry data will be processed in line with the Student and Prospective Student Privacy Notice and retained for three months following completion of the competition. Details relating to the winner may be retained longer online owing to the nature of social media.
