Francis holds degrees in Natural Sciences and Chemical Engineering from the University of Cambridge. Having recently retired from a career of over 30 years in the international oil & gas industry, Francis decided to venture into research, specifically investigating the potential for oil & gas majors to contribute to the energy transition. Francis joins the centre as a research analyst to further develop a stream of work around financial risks for the oil & gas majors in the low carbon energy transition.
