Sam Asher is Associate Professor of Economics at Imperial College Business School.
Through his research, he seeks to understand the drivers of growth and structural transformation in lower income countries. In 2019, he co-founded the Development Data Lab, and he is also an associate of the Bureau for Research and the Economic Analysis of Development, the Center for International Development at Harvard University and an affiliate at the Centre for Policy Research in New Delhi.
