Imperial College Business School is committed to attracting the brightest minds from across the globe and we are thrilled to collaborate with organisations such as FUNED to expand opportunities for students worldwide.

What is FUNED?

The Mexican Foundation for Education, Technology and Science (FUNED) is a non-for-profit organisation that offers loans and scholarships for Mexican students pursuing a graduate degree abroad. FUNED seeks to promote the professional growth of Mexicans with academic excellence admitted to a master's programme at one of the best universities or programmes in the world, according to the QS or THE world ranking.

How does the funding work?

The FUNED Masters programme consists of a fund for maintenance and tuition assigned directly to the candidate. Through FUNED's agreement with Imperial, admitted students of the Full-Time MBA programme can be considered for a scholarship award of £20,000 to contribute towards the cost of the tuition fees.

Eligibility

To be considered for this scholarship applicants must be Mexican nationals and hold an offer for the Full-Time MBA programme at Imperial College Business School before applying to FUNED for funding.

We recommend that you check the specific eligibility criteria on the FUNED website for more details.

How to apply

Candidates who submit their application for the Full-Time MBA in admissions rounds one or two and receive an offer can apply for this scholarship.

If successful in receiving an offer, candidates can then apply to FUNED for funding. Candidates should aim to apply for FUNED funding as soon as possible once the FUNED call for applications has been announced. Funding is then approved and confirmed direct to scholars by FUNED.

Our round two deadline is coming up on Monday 20 January 2025. Don't forget to apply!

“We are proud to have an agreement with FUNED to expand opportunities for talented Mexican students to pursue their Full-Time MBA studies at Imperial. This collaborative agreement reflects our dedication and commitment to ensuring that students have the opportunities and resources to excel in their postgraduate studies and beyond.”
