Paul-Alexandru Chiric: Co-CIO Portfolio Management
MSc Investment and Wealth Management
Alex holds a Finance and Economics BSc from Lancaster University Management School. During his undergrad, he was involved with the management of Lancaster's Student-led investment fund, as the head of Quantitative Strategies. He has experience working within the Asset Management Industry as an Analyst focused on the development and calibration of pricing solutions employed by multi-asset investment. Alex's main areas of interest include Portfolio Allocation methods, Risk Management, Macroeconomic Business Cycles and the applications of Machine Learning techniques in Finance and Economics. Through the pursuit of his master's in Investment and Wealth Management, he hopes to further enhance his knowledge and prepare for further career in Asset Management. In his free time, Alex can be found sailing or drinking a good espresso.
Georgios Papaspyrou: Co-CIO Portfolio Management
MSc Investment and Wealth Management
George earned his MEng degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from Newcastle University, where he discovered his passion for investment management through active participation in the university's Investment Society. Subsequently, he assumed Analyst roles within various investment teams, offering analytical and operational support to portfolio managers. Serving in the Greek Special Forces, George participated in humanitarian relief efforts that exposed him to the severe consequences of climate change and income inequality. In his pursuit of a fulfilling career, George endeavours to utilise the skills and knowledge his Investment Wealth Management degree has equipped him with to address these systemic challenges.
Leo Chakravarty: Co-CIO Quantitative
MSc Finance
Leo is pursuing a master’s degree in finance, after having obtained a bachelor’s degree in Theoretical Physics from Imperial College London. Whilst pursuing his undergraduate degree, he completed an internship at a hedge fund, on the Developed Markets Rates desk. Prior to this he interned at an AI start-up, working on their data analytics and product strategy. Leo has a keen interest in applying technical tools to solve and gain insight into quantitative problems, such as understanding and operating efficiently in financial markets. Leo has lived in Switzerland and Singapore, fuelling his love of being in nature and travelling.
Xin Zhan: Co-CIO Quantitative
MSc Financial Technology
Xin holds a bachelor’s degree in information systems and information management from Xi’an Jiao Tong-Liverpool University and is currently studying for a master’s degree in financial technology. After his undergraduate studies, he took a gap year to work at a hedge fund as a Quantitative Strategy Analyst, focusing on the Chinese stock market and commodity futures. His professional interest centres on high-frequency trading, where he has employed programming to unearth high-frequency arbitrage opportunities. He is leveraging emerging technologies like deep learning, large language models (LLM), and artificial intelligence to develop new trading strategies.
Emily Petterson: Sustainability Officer
MSc Climate Change, Management and Finance
Emily is an experienced finance professional, with her most recent role being Assistant Vice President at Citi Private Bank. She holds a CISI Level 4 Diploma in Investment Advice (Securities) and completed her undergraduate degree in Economics at Newcastle University. Emily is committed to exploring the intersection of finance and climate change and is pursuing a master’s degree in Climate Change, Management and Finance. She hopes to gain a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities for the low-carbon transition and use her expertise to contribute toward creating a meaningful, positive social and environmental impact.
Chloris Cheung: Head of ESG
MSc Finance
Chloris graduated from BSc Risk Management Science in the Chinese University of Hong Kong. During her undergrad she had several experiences across equity research and stock pitching. Upon graduation, she delved into corporate banking where she advised large corporates on sustainable capital market instruments. She has a passion for driving sustainable changes through research and capital market and holds the CFA's ESG Investing Certificate.
Vivian Wijaya: Head of Impact Investing
Full-Time MBA
Vivian holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from UC Berkeley, USA. She is currently doing her MBA with a concentration in ESG at Imperial College London. Prior to her MBA, she was an investment banker doing transaction execution for Mergers & Acquisition and Equity Capital Market projects across various industries.
Aarushi Verma: Operations Manager
MSc Economics and Strategy for Business
Aarushi worked as a Manager of Risk Investigation at Amazon, India. She completed her undergraduate from Miranda House, University of Delhi, where she worked as a project head for Connecting Dreams Foundation. She has also interned with NITI Aayog, the planning commission of India, and Jaanagraha, NGO for urban development. Currently pursuing MSc Economics and strategy for business, she hopes to learn more about Finance, Economics, and skills of investing. In the long term, she hopes to bring together her management skills, and her interest of Economics and technology to open her own social organisation someday.
Rishabh Chakraborty: Director of Marketing and Communications

Rishabh Chakraborty is an aspiring marketer pursuing an MSc in Strategic Marketing from Imperial College Business School, London. With a distinction in BSc Statistics, he has a proven background in elevating brand visibility and devising CRM strategies. His intern experience includes market penetration analysis for Indian private banks and strategic project execution at a financial services firm. An adept organiser, Rishabh spearheaded marketing for a major intercollegiate festival, augmenting digital outreach. His marketing acumen is complemented by his social initiatives and proficiency in advanced analytics tools.

Davide Sciuto - Founder & Chairman

Davide founded the Fund as an initiative while a student at Imperial, and has been advising on its entire development ever since. He holds two bachelor’s degrees in business administration with first-class honours from Università Cattolica in Italy and Lancaster University in the UK, where he also launched its first student investment fund. He has previous work experience in banking, asset management and financial services through positions at Citi, Newscape Capital and Lond Capital, and is now working in the

Hiu Hiu Sau - Alumni Advisor

Hiu Hiu was previously the Director of Brand & Strategy, overseeing the Fund’s strategic direction and supporting on overall Fund management. Prior to her studies at Imperial, she graduated from the University of Virginia with a BA double major in Computer Science and Music. She holds past experience in strategy, product development, and marketing in both Hong Kong and the United States, and is currently a Management Consulting Associate at PwC in London.
Andreas Theodoulou - Previous Co-CIO (Quantitative)

Andreas co-lead the first Quantitative Division of the Fund, developing the initial series of strategies and coordinating the quantitative research within the teams. He previously graduated with a BSc in Mathematics with Statistics from the University of Bristol, and is now working as a Quantitative Analyst at the Bank of America in London.
Simon de Fauconval - Previous Portfolio Manager & Principal Trader (Quantitative)

Simon managed the first quantitative investment strategy of the Fund: Momentum. He holds a BSc Summa cum Laude in Statistics from Sapienza University of Rome, and his main fields of experience are quantitative finance and data science. He completed a research project in financial machine learning in collaboration with Fideuram Asset Management. He currently advises on the quantitative strategies of the Fund, and is now working at BNP Paribas Asset Management in London
