Event details
The UK Women in Finance Workshop aims to bring together women in Finance from across the UK to foster a dynamic environment for research, networking, and support. While the event is primarily focused on women, everyone is welcome to attend and participate.
Our goal is to consolidate the UK Women in Finance Network, with this year’s event hosted by Imperial College London. This workshop is the second in a series of annual conferences, with future events to be hosted by different schools across the UK. By creating a supportive community, we hope to inspire collaboration, share insights, and elevate the presence of women in the field of Finance.
The workshop program covers one full day starting at 8:30am and finishing with a networking event and dinner (by invite only). The program will include 6 academic papers from different areas, a PhD poster session during the lunch break, a panel discussion on a topic to be announced, and a keynote speech by Professor Anna Pavlova from London Business School.
We aim at as wide participation as possible. The registration is on first come first serve basis.
We acknowledge financial support from Imperial College Business School and the Academic Female Finance Committee of the American Finance Association (AFFECT).
The deadline for submissions is 18 November 2024. All papers should be submitted via womeninfinance@imperial.ac.uk.
Please indicate whether you would be willing to act as a discussant. Authors of accepted papers will be notified by mid-December 2024.
