The Data Strategy for Leaders programme offers business leaders the opportunity to leverage data for strategic decision-making within their organisations. Through this programme, leaders will gain insights into effectively utilising data, facilitating informed strategic decisions, and optimising business performance. Developed and delivered by esteemed Imperial faculty and seasoned data leaders, this programme enhances an individual’s strategic acumen and helps them accelerate their career to become a data strategy leader.

This 14-week online programme draws on expertise from Imperial College Business School faculty, industry experts and case studies. It features hands-on modules for practical learning and opportunities for interactive engagement, and strategic thinking. You will experience live online teaching sessions, video lectures, interactive activities and assignments whilst receiving personal support from a dedicated Learning Team.

You will finish the programme prepared to implement your learnings, and with a verified Digital Certificate from Imperial College Business School Executive Education.

Programme Faculty

Wolfram Wiesemann

Professor Wolfram Wiesemann

Professor of Analytics & Operations

Professor Wiesemann is Professor of Analytics & Operations at Imperial College Business School, where he also serves as the Academic Director of the MSc Business Analytics programme. His teaching focuses on linear, discrete, and nonlinear optimisation and the theory, algorithms and applications of machine learning. He also teaches prescriptive analytics.

Wolfram holds a joint master's degree in management and computing from Darmstadt University of Technology, and a PhD in operations research from Imperial College London. He is also a Fellow of the KPMG Centre for Advanced Business Analytics.

Chris Tucci

Chris Tucci

Professor of Digital Strategy and Innovation

Professor Chris Tucci received the degrees of Ph.D. in Management from the Sloan School of Management, MIT; SM (Technology & Policy) from MIT; and BS (Mathematical Sciences), AB (Music), and MS (Computer Science) from Stanford University. He was an industrial computer scientist involved in developing Internet protocols and applying artificial intelligence tools.

Chris' primary area of interest is in how firms make transitions to new business models, technologies, and organisational forms. He also studies crowdsourcing, Internetworking, and digital innovations.

Mike Seville

Mike Seville

Chief Data Officer

Mike Seville is an experienced Chief Data Officer. Mike has a deep interest in the application of data, analytics, machine learning and AI in commercial settings and has held senior data positions at a range of organisations, including Dojo, a UK payments company and Farfetch, a luxury marketplace. He holds a Masters degree in Machine Learning from UCL.

Khalil Dimachkie

Khalil Dimachkie

Chief Technical Officer

Khalil has been in the software industry for 20 years, with the last 8 of those as CTO of data driven companies. Throughout his career he's had experience with all parts of the software stack and spent 7 years as a solutions architect working with some of the biggest organisations and brands in the UK and globally including TfL, VISA, BP, and Maserati.
