The Leonardo Centre is at the heart of a cross-disciplinary community of 15 Imperial College research centres and GOLDEN for Impact (Global Organization Learning and Developing Network), a global community of 150 scholars in 60 universities around the world, including MIT, Harvard, London Business School and Oxford.
Leonardo Centre was conceived as a cross-disciplinary bridge: federating the expertise and competencies which are relevant for the study of corporate sustainability in all research centres at Imperial College. These include the Grantham Institute for Climate Change, Energy Futures Lab, Centre for Health Economics & Policy Innovation, Data Science Institute, Centre for Environmental Policy and Centre for Process Systems Engineering.
Examples of ongoing collaborative initiatives include:
- the expansion of our unique digital dataset of corporate sustainability initiatives is facilitated through our partnership with the Data Science Institute
- working with the Wicked Acceleration Lab, we are identifying pathways to net zero through innovation and corporate strategy
- through our connections with GOLDEN for Impact we have developed and rolled out our Sustainability Leadership Programme, with content input from experts in the Centre for Environmental Policy, the Dyson Institute and the Centre for Climate Finance and Investment.
- the production of a report on health and food with the Centre for Health Economics & Policy Innovation using data from our global dataset of sustainability initiatives.
