Choosing to pursue an MBA is one of the most important decisions you will make and is a substantial investment in yourself.
Many of our students fund their studies through multiple funding sources. We offer a wide range of awards, including a number of full scholarships to the most talented applicants. We’ve also provided information about the different financing options available to you.

Tuition Fee
Deposit
Paying your fees
Full information on how to pay your fees will be communicated after you have accepted your offer. To secure your place, a deposit of 10% of the tuition fee is required. This is part of the full tuition fee and not an additional cost.
Tuition fees cover the length of the programme and core reading and study materials.
Fees do not cover accommodation and expenses, costs incurred as part of optional internships or exchanges, supplementary texts and study materials, Careers Club membership (£10 per club for the year).
Making your payment
You can pay your MBA tuition fees in one instalment per year when the programme starts or, if you are self-funding, in two instalments as set in regulated credit agreements.
Receiving your invoice
You will receive an email invoice from the Tuition Fees team within five days of accepting your offer and will need to pay the deposit within 30 days of receiving this invoice. Failure to pay this in time may result in your offer being withdrawn.
The fees for both UK and international students are the same.

Executive MBA scholarships
Imperial College Business School is pleased to offer significant scholarship funding to our most talented applicants. We’re also proud to offer a wide range of awards that support diversity. Self-funded candidates are automatically considered for all scholarship schemes as long as they meet the eligibility criteria, entry requirements, and application deadlines.
Some of our scholarship awards require video submissions, the details of which will be sent to you via email once you have received a formal offer for the programme. For further details on each the awards and corresponding timeframes please select from the following list:

The Black Future Leader Award is available to applicants demonstrating an outstanding track record of leadership and/or leadership potential. Self-identification of ethnicity from a Black or mixed background (including Black African or Black Caribbean and any other mixed black background) is also a requirement.

Candidates who submit their application by the required deadline and receive an offer for the programme will be eligible to apply for this scholarship. You will be required to submit a video assessment - further details will be communicated once you have received an offer for the programme.

Imperial Excellence Scholarships are available for applicants demonstrating all-round excellence in their application and interview performance.
All successful applicants are eligible to apply for this award.

Candidates who submit their application and receive an offer for the programme will be eligible to apply for this scholarship. Awards will be made throughout the admissions cycle but only a limited number are available, so we recommend applying early. Successful candidates will be notified by the Admissions team within two weeks of an offer being made.
Requirements
An excellent application, demonstrating academic merit, strong professional or internship experience, clear career plan, and leadership potential.

Eligibility
Your Imperial degree opened doors after graduation. Now, find out how an MBA can help open new opportunities to accelerate or pivot your career, with a reduction in your fees. This bursary is available to candidates who have previously been awarded an undergraduate degree or a postgraduate Master’s degree by Imperial College London.
How to apply
Eligible candidates who receive an offer for the programme will automatically receive the bursary as a reduction to their tuition fees.

The bursary is a reduction in the total fees for the Executive MBA, equating to 10% of the fee for your Open Programme.
Summary
The Open Programme Loyalty Bursary is available to candidates who have previously attended an Executive Education Open Programme at Imperial College Business School as a self-funded participant, within the 12 months prior to starting the Executive MBA.
Eligibility
Open to participants of Imperial College Business School’s Executive Education Open Programmes.
How to apply
Candidates who submit their application for the Executive MBA by the required deadline and receive an offer for the programme will automatically receive the bursary as a reduction to their tuition fees.

Summary
Imperial College Business School wholeheartedly supports the 30% Club’s goal of achieving a minimum of 30% women on FTSE-100 boards. We are therefore pleased to offer two Inspiring Women – Executive MBA scholarships of £25,000 each to exceptional female candidates undertaking the Executive MBA.
In addition to the financial scholarship from Imperial, successful applicants will receive a range of support from the 30% Club, including a cross-company mentoring scheme and exclusive event invitations.

Financing your MBA
Many of our students fund their studies through multiple funding sources, combining personal resources with education loans and scholarships. We have listed some of the options for you below.
Funding options
If you are a UK or EU student who meets certain criteria, you can apply for the Postgraduate Master's Loan from the UK government. See the gov.uk website for more information.
The US Federal Loans Scheme allows various different types of loans to assist students with the cost of their studies.
Lendwise is a specialist loan provider dedicated to education finance for UK residents who are looking to fund their postgraduate studies at top universities.
Individual banks, building societies and other lenders offer study loans.
Prodigy Finance is a loan provider for international postgraduate students at the world’s top business schools. The Prodigy Finance loan is available to full time students. You will be eligible to apply for the Prodigy Finance loan once you have a firm offer from us.
Some of our students are either wholly or partly sponsored by their employers. To gain the support of your employer to sponsor your MBA studies, it’s important to build a strong business case that demonstrates how the programme can help you and your organisation.
You need to persuade your employer that funding your education would be a good business investment.

There are several externally funded scholarship options available to Full-Time MBA students including The Chevening scholarship. You can find details of further non-Imperial scholarships here.
You should consider what personal resources are available to you and evaluate your income, assets and your lifestyle expenses. Personal resources reduce your dependency on loans and other financing options.

Next steps
If you are offered an Imperial College Business School scholarship and are subsequently offered a larger award by us, the larger one would supersede the first award and would not be in addition to it. Scholarships awarded by Imperial College Business School are in the form of a reduction of the tuition fee. Therefore, if you receive another scholarship that pays the full tuition fee directly to the College, you cannot also receive a scholarship from the Business School.
