A number of personalised services are provided before you start and throughout your time at the Business School to support you in securing a job in the sector of your choice.

Before the start of your programme, you can access our Careers Primer module and schedule a careers appointment with a careers consultant to develop a career strategy and prepare for the year ahead. This way, you can start thinking about your goals before the programme has even begun, noticing any gaps that you’d like to discuss with your career consultant.

An integral part of your MBA programme, The Personal Leadership Journey is designed to help you formulate your post-MBA career strategy, equipping you with the skills and knowledge required to market yourself in a competitive field and succeed in your career. “Neither of us planned to start a company at the beginning of the Full-Time MBA. We had considered traditional finance or consulting roles, or even perhaps joining an existing start-up, but creating a company from scratch didn’t occur to us. The Imperial MBA gave us the confidence to do it.

Our company, OnLadder, originated from the Entrepreneurial Journey. This class was very important in providing guidance and developing an iterative mindset that we have continued to use well after the MBA programme.”

What our students say

“The Careers team has really tightened up my CV, as well as preparing me for interviews and how confident I feel with the process. We are constantly given opportunities to practice pitching ourselves, which I have found to be the most useful skill time and time again.”
