As part of the Disease Control Priorities Network (DCPN), funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, DCP3 builds upon its predecessors, DCP1 (1993) and DCP2 (2006), written by the World Bank. The third edition provides the most up to date evidence on intervention efficacy and program effectiveness for the leading causes of global disease burden.

Elisabetta was co-author on Chapter 12 “School Feeding Programs in Middle Childhood and Adolescence”, which reviews the global evidence on the impact and the costs of school feeding programmes on child and adolescent health, nutrition, education and agriculture, and on Chapter 25 “Identifying an essential package for school-age child health: economic analysis” which presents an affordable package of school-based health intervention for low and middle income countries and it estimates costs and potential benefits.
