In June 2023 the Gandhi Centre kicked off this year's edition of our programme with our Hero Fincorp partners, based in India.
Focusing on 'Strategic Decision Making and Innovation', and for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic we were able to welcome our cohort to South Kensington campus in person! They were such a bright and engaged bunch of people, the programme worked really well and there were some excellent moments across the week.
In tandem, we also welcomed our very first cohort of leaders from Hero Motocorp, also based in India, to study their bespoke programme 'Leading Growth in Uncertain Times'.
These programmes are part of a specially curated journey to develop the potential of selected candidates participating in the leadership programmes in their respective organisations, to prepare them for future senior leadership roles.
The cohorts each undergo rigorous classroom and practical 'on-the-job' training to hone their competencies, gain cross-functional exposure and be 'future ready' for critical leadership positions.
Concentrating on but not limited to: leading teams; design thinking; strategy during uncertain times; strategic management; digital marketing; data analytics; and innovation strategy, the focus of the programme is to give participants a practical yet theoretically grounded collection of tools they can use to be an effective manager and developer of people.
The cohort were a great bunch of people! Fully engaged throughout, and we are very much looking forward to watching how they develop through their programmes.
