Abstract

The majority of developers hear about functional JavaScript and how it can help their code, but have no idea how to get started. Functional is great, but there are some core concepts hard to visualize. This talk aims at introducing functional programming in JavaScript with real life examples whose logic is accessible. We will use functions as logic steps and apply them to 'filters', 'map' and 'reduce'. You will discover how to use Functional programming in the real world to make your code easier to read and test.
