Christmas Day at International Students House

The day will begin with welcome drinks at 11.45 am, and then you will be seated for a 3 course traditional British Christmas Lunch (halal turkey or vegetarian option). You will meet a mix of students from all over the world who study at a variety of London Universities. There will be plenty of photo opportunities, Christmas Crackers, a screening of the 3pm Speech by His Majesty the King, followed by a movie, or a walk in nearby Regent’s Park. Goodie box provided on departure with nibbles to tide you over for the rest of the day.

Move Imperial will be running several different events throughout the winter break to give you the chance to get active, look after your wellbeing, and meet others from across College.
Support Services
- The Cove - an NHS Service offering drop-in mental health support for anyone experiencing mental health distress. They are open every day of the year from 14:00 - 22:00 and can meet with you in-person, on the telephone or through online video sessions on Zoom. For the Kensington, Chelsea and Westminster Cove, call 07827 437081 or drop in to The Lighthouse, Dunbell Building, St Mary's Hospital, Praed Street, W2 1RL.
- Samaritans - for people experiencing high levels of distress including suicidal feelings. Call 116 123 or email jo@samaritans.org, this service is 24 hours.
- Shout crisis text service - offers a 24 hour text service, free on all major mobile networks, for anyone in crisis anytime, anywhere. Text 'SHOUT' to 85258
