Naura Antariksa

Naura completed her BEng in Applied Chemistry at Kyushu University, graduating with first-class honours in 2020. Wanting to acquire more biological experience, she continued her education at EPFL where received her MSci in Chemistry in 2022. There, Naura trained under Prof. Yimon Aye, where her project focused on investigating the interaction between SERPINB1 protein and a drug-like molecule to establish the downstream biological effects of said interaction in the context of autoimmune disease. She then did an internship at Prof. Julius Fredens’ group at the National University of Singapore, focusing on protein delivery and biosensor development.

Naura has now joined the Di Antonio group at Imperial College on a President’s PhD Scholarship and she will be aiming at generating novel genomic strategies to map long range G-G interactions in chromatin.
