After intensive training in Mathematics and Physics in the French “Classes Preparatoires aux Grandes Ecoles ”, Fatine studied General Engineering at Ecole Centrale Paris. Her interest in renewable generation led her to gain industrial experience in Offshore Wind deployment at EDF R&D. Biography
After a conventional French education in classes préparatoires and at Institut d’Optique Graduate School, Gaspard decided the time had come to explore new horizons. Biography
Following the completion of this thrilling year at Imperial College London, Sebastian will hold a Master of Science in Sustainable Energy Futures and a Diplôme d’Ingénieur from Institut d’Optique Graduate School, a French Grande-Ecole. Before joining Imperial, Sebastian developed his enthusiasm for sustainable energy through two R&D internships at Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy systems in Freiburg, Germany and at Bentham Instruments Ltd in Reading, UK, both related to PV cells.

Jonathan Werner

Biography
Jonathan graduated in Mechanical Engineering from ETH Zürich, with a specialisation in energy. He then chose to focus more narrowly in this area by undertaking the MSc in Sustainable Energy Futures to supplement his technical knowledge with energy economics and politics.

Biography
Sam obtained a BEng in Environmental Engineering with first class honours at University College London, winning the Chadwick Prize in his final year. After the MSc SEF course, he aims to implement elements of low carbon technologies in the downstream manufacturing processes of his family’s business.

Yang Yu

Biography
Yang completed his BEng in Electronic and Electrical Engineering at the University of Strathclyde; achieving first class honours. At Strathclyde, he completed a summer internship focusing on the design and performance of electrical generators for wind turbines. He joined the MSc in Sustainable Energy Futures to pursue his interest in the energy sector and renewable energy technologies.
