The MSc in Sustainable Energy Futures covers a wide range of topics. Each student is able to conduct four months of individual research on a topic of choice that culminates in a thesis submitted in September. This research interest is also the foundation for a presentation given during the Sustainable Energy Futures Annual Conference.

This year, the presentations have been organised into the following seven overarching themes:

  1. Finance in the Green Transition
  2. Battery Performance
  3. Whole System Design and Grid Flexibility
  4. Decarbonising Industry
  5. Buildings, Transport and Cities
  6. Environmental and Social Impacts
  7. Technology in Challenging Environments
