The ESA Education Office is pleased to sponsor up to three tertiary education students to attend the 39th International Electric Propulsion Conference (IEPC 2025) as part of the ESA Academy Conference Student Sponsorship programme.

Each sponsorship will cover the student registration fee (paid directly by the ESA Education Office) and provide up to EUR 900 towards travel and accommodation expenses. Reimbursement will be processed via a single bank transfer after the event and will require submission of valid receipts.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for an ESA Academy Student Sponsorship, applicants must meet the following criteria at the time of application:

  • Be individually presenting an accepted contribution at the conference (oral or poster);
  • Be at least 18 years old at the time of the conference;
  • Be a citizen of an ESA Member State, Associate Member State, or Canada;
  • Be enrolled as a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD student in a tertiary education programme (not graduating before the conference);
  • Not receive overlapping financial support for attending IEPC 2025, unless duly justified;
  • Agree to the terms of the ESA Academy’s Privacy Policy.

Priority will be given to students who have less than two years of professional experience and have never previously participated in an ESA Education Office-sponsored activity.
