"Lectio" is a central system to help students participate in lectures remotely. Its ultimate goal is to provide universities and academic institutions with a modern and innovative platform to manage recorded lectures. Everything is organized in a way that makes it simple for both lecturers to upload content and students to access it.
Lectio works by following principles of direct, rich and useful experiences. It focuses on not intruding with the lecturers' normal work flow while offering high quality results to users. The main motivation behind the project has been the lack of features and reliability offered by the available solutions nowadays. For students, the use of recorded content from lectures is key following a course and in revising for exams. Being able to access such resources in a direct way, when it best suits the needs of the user, is an invaluable capability.
