Abstract
This research presents an exciting opportunity for those aiming to reshape the design for future mobility with industrial partners.

We seek to transform the automotive design industry by leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) to create sustainable lightweight vehicle structures, achieved by expediting the design development process, ensuring both optimal in-service performance and manufacturability using advanced forming techniques.

Innovative AI-driven tools will be developed for geometric design optimisation, material selection, and manufacturing process tuning. This approach empowers design engineers for simultaneous interdisciplinary analyses, significantly shortening the traditional design development cycles, and thus enables more creative, efficient, and eco-friendly components to be produced.
