Sunlight Rechargeable Hybrid Batteries

Abstract
Batteries can store energy but do not generate it, while solar cells can generate energy but do not store it. The possible solution by physically coupling these two is neither an engineering solution nor technological advance, as they are plagued by severe transport losses and need duplication of components and interface devices. On the other hand, portable electronic and e-transport applications are constrained by size, weight and space. Therefore, project will tackle this fundamental and technological problem head on and to develop a hybrid device that achieves both energy conversion and storage simultaneously.
