Autumn Term (December)

• Exams for all level 6 Autumn term modules (ELEC6****). These modules are taken by UG year 3 students and by some MSc students.

Spring term (January)

• Exams for ELEC40012 Mathematics 1A, ELEC50011A Mathematics for Engineers IIA and ELEC50011B Mathematics for Engineers IIB.

Summer Term

• Exams for all other year 1 modules (ELEC4****), all other year 2 modules (ELEC5****) and also all year 4 and MSc modules (ELEC7****).

Reassessment Exam Period (August)

• All reassessment examinations for all ELEC modules. This is usually in the last two full weeks of August.

If you are taking modules with other departments, they should contact you separately to inform you of their own exam timetables. If you are taking exams from other departments, please check relevant department's webpage for examinations timetable or contact the department directly.

July Board of Examiners Meeting

At the end of the academic year, the Board of Examiners meet to discuss and confirm all results. In  2023-24, the Board of Examiners Meeting will take place on Friday 5 Jul 2024.

We aim to release results during the week following the meeting. Please be aware that we need time to process the decisions after the meeting, so it isn’t possible for us to provide results immediately.

We hold another Board of Examiners Meeting in September to discuss and confirm all results from the August reassessment period and also for all third-year students.

The MSc Board of Examiners meeting is held in mid-October of each academic year.
