Although we do not offer English as a foreign language (EFL) courses, we do have a range of courses aimed at non-native English speakers to help if you want to improve your everyday conversation, or your knowledge and understanding of business English.

Our Conversation English courses focus on using and understanding everyday English as it is spoken in the United Kingdom, to help you understand idiomatic phrases, common metaphors and slang, as well as to enhancing your ability to engage in conversation with native speakers of English for work, study or pleasure.

Our Business English courses also deal with common diomatic phrases and metaphors, but they are geared towards the use of English by business people in a variety of sectors. Discussing business matters with appropriate technical language and understanding when a speaker is using a simile or metaphor to describe a situation is essential in business and commerce.

For both Conversation English and Business you should have a level of ability in spoken English at least equivalent to B2 (Cambridge First Certificate) /IELTS 5.5-6.5 or equivalent before starting any of these courses.
