Put pen to paper and recreate the intricacies of your favourite plants in our plant drawing workshop. Led by a professional artist and plant science researcher, we’ll be calming our minds and letting creativity flow through the practice of drawing.
Suitable for all levels, from absolute beginners to lockdown artistes!
This workshop will be led by artist Melissa Frateantonio and Imperial plant scientist Dr Catherine Mansfield and has been developed in collaboration with M.Y.O (Make Your Own) London’s favourite creative space for adults.
All you will need to take part is:
- Something to draw FROM (this could be a photo you have found online of your favourite plant, a branch, leaf, or weed that you’ve picked from your local park, or a trusty houseplant)
- Something to draw ON (paper, a notebook, cardboard, etc.)
- Something to draw WITH (pencils, biros, felt tips, highlighters, paints etc.)
