Biography
Dr Yuhua Xia
Research associate, Department Earth Science and Engineering
Dr Yuhua Xia is an electrochemist, experienced in electrocatalysis and various electrochemical energy conversion and storage technologies such as redox flow batteries, fuel cells and Li-ion batteries.
His PhD research was developing a novel polysulphide/air redox flow battery for low-cost and medium to large scale energy storage purposes. His expertise included electrochemistry, electrocatalysis, and various electrochemical energy conversion and storage devices such as flow battery, fuel cells and Li-ion battery.
