About the Speaker
Mahdad Noursadeghi is Professor of Infectious Disease at UCL, and a Consultant in Infectious Diseases at UCLH. His group study human immune responses to infectious diseases. They focus on host-pathogen interactions in macrophages and in vivo human responses to infection using transcriptomics, for biomarker discovery and for discriminating the biology of protective immunity and immunopathogenesis.
