Put pen to paper and learn how to draw your favourite plants in this plant life drawing workshop for all the family.
Led by a professional illustrator and a plant scientist, we’ll be exploring the magic of plants while letting creativity flow through some fun drawing exercises.
Suitable for families with children aged 5-12, and for all levels of drawing from absolute beginners to mini artistes!
This workshop will be led by illustrator Abby Hobbs and Imperial plant scientist Dr Catherine Mansfield and has been developed in collaboration with M.Y.O (Make Your Own) London’s favourite creative space for adults.
All you will need to take part is:
- Something to draw FROM (this could be a photo you have found online of your favourite plant, a branch, leaf, or weed that you’ve picked from your local park, or a trusty houseplant)
- Something to draw ON (paper, a notebook, cardboard, etc.)
- Something to draw WITH (pencils, biros, felt tips, highlighters, paints etc.)
