IMSE invites you to the launch of a new briefing paper low carbon aviation fuels (biofuels, power-to-liquid and hydrogen). This paper demonstrates the breadth and depth of research carried out across Imperial College London which is contributing to developing alternatives to kerosene. The paper assesses the environmental impact of each fuel type, their resource demand, scale-up requirements and indicates policy avenues to promote development of these fuels.
The event will comprise of:
- The presentation of the paper
- A panel discussion featuring leading researchers, policy specialists and industry representatives
- A poster session showcasing current Imperial College research in this area and drinks reception
