The EEE Department is hosting a CV and Interview workshop for MSc students on Thursday 25 May 11.30am to 5pm. This should be on your timetable.
The workshop will involve
- Industry talk – Dr Phil Corbishley from Group Manager, Power Management at Nordic Semiconductor
Dr Corbishley graduated from Imperial College in 2007 with a PhD in Analogue and IC Design and will be sharing his career journey with you and will be talking about his experience hiring engineers.
- CV, cover letter, and interview techniques – Jessica Popplewell, Imperial Careers Service
- Advice for those thinking of continuing with a PhD – Prof Esther Rodriguez Villegas
- Feedback on your CV – Jessica Popplewell, Imperial Careers Service
This will be useful to those who are currently applying for jobs, have interviews lined up or who are undecided about their next move. It will also be a good opportunity to network with your fellow MSc students.
There will be lunch and refreshments provided. If you have any dietary requirements please let us know by Wednesday 17 May.
