Bio: Dr. Katy Gaythorpe is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in mathematical modelling of infectious diseases at Imperial College London. She is the research lead of the Vaccine Impact Modelling Consortium which is formed of 22 modelling groups estimating the impact of vaccination on 12 pathogens in 112 countries. Her research also focuses on the burden of yellow fever past, present and future, especially in the presence of climate change. She is a member of the Imperial College COVID-19 response team and the Ebola Response Team.
