Bio: Dr Paras Anand

Paras Anand is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Infectious Disease. His group investigates innate immune mechanisms, with a specific focus on the activation mechanisms of the NLRP3 inflammasome during infectious and inflammatory diseases.
Recent research in the lab has illuminated the pivotal roles that lipids play, providing significant insights into the intricate connections between lipid metabolism and the regulation of inflammasomes.
