Bio: Dr Andrew Mehle

Dr. Mehle received his undergraduate degrees from Villanova University and his doctoral degree in the Virology Program at Harvard University. He pursued postdoctoral studies with Dr. Jennifer Doudna at the University of California Berkeley where he started his work on influenza virus. He was hired as a faculty member at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and has since progressed to Full Professor as an HI Romnes Faculty Fellow. During this time he was also a Burroughs Wellcome Fund Investigator in the Pathogenesis of Disease. He is currently on sabbatical at the Francis Crick Institute as a Royal Society International Exchangee.
