On Friday 09th February 2024 we will be welcoming speaker Professor David Erlinge, Lund University, to the Vascular Science Seminar Series.

Talk title: Vulnerable plaque and triggers of MI

Short Bio:

David Erlinge received his MD from Lund University, Sweden, followed by a PhD at the same university. He received the Lars Werkö distinguished research fellowship in 2006 and in 2008 was appointed Professor in Cardiology at Lund University. Davis I currently  Head, Dept of Cardiology Lund Chairman of SCAAR (Swedish PCI register) and is the past president of the Swedish Society of Cardiology.

David’s clinical speciality is centred around Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI), and research focused on acute coronary syndromes, vulnerable plaque, therapeutic hypothermia, cardioprotection and platelet function.
