The concept of thought leadership is receiving increasing attention from researchers and analysts of many kinds. It is a growth sector: indeed, they are arguably replacing the conventional public intellectual, the space which some academics have historically aspired to fill (Drezner, 2017).

Thought leaders think differently, often in terms of zeal and optimism rather than sober evidence or critique. They are adept at establishing organisations, setting new rules. They move quickly and at scale, successfully capturing vital, fleeting time in the attention economy (Bell, 2020).

Drawing on research into leadership, strategy, campaigning, history and futures, this seminar will outline the thought leadership landscape and support attendees in applying relevant lessons to their own work, ambitions, and opportunities.

This seminar will take place both live at CLCC and online. Select your mode of attendance using the link below.
