Dr Molly Ingersoll, Research Director, received her PhD in microbiology/host-pathogen interactions from NYU School of Medicine working with Arturo Zychlinsky at NYU and at the Max Planck Institute for Infection Biology in Berlin, Germany. A brief postdoctoral fellowship at Washington University School of Medicine, in St Louis, MO with Scott Hultgren, studying innate immunity to urinary tract infection was followed by a postdoctoral appointment at Mount Sinai Medical Center in NYC, investigating monocyte and dendritic cell biology.

Dr Ingersoll currently heads the dual-affiliated team Mucosal Inflammation and Immunity, interested in bladder mucosal immunity in the context of infection and cancer at the Institut Cochin and Institut Pasteur in Paris.

Dr Ingersoll will be giving an in-person seminar on ‘understanding immunity in the bladder’ on Monday 4th November at 12:30. Please join us in SAF 120 or online via the Teams link provided.
