Following the success of our first pilot session held at the end of the 2024 summer series, the next Cardiac Function Seminar Series PhD Students talk session will be held at the end of this Autumn term seminar series taking place on Thursday 12th December.
The session will see two of our Cardiac Function PhD Students present their projects, independent of the mandatory LSR, to our seminar members.
There will be opportunity for discussion following the presentations of each talk.
The running order and details of the session are as follows:
Speaker 1: Mary Ball – Generation of an engineered heart tissue model of HCM, to investigate the mechanisms of fibrosis (ICL/Cesare Terracciano)
Speaker 2: Jiarong Fu – Role of stretch-responsive nonodomains of ventricular cardiomyocytes in healthy and failing heart (ICL/Julia Gorelik)
Talk Time: 12:30 – 13:30 UK time

Please note the seminar organizers and the Head of Section would like to request that attendees will in the majority of cases be physically present in the seminar room and a participation via Teams shall be the exception.
