I’ll discuss some new approaches for understanding the Coulomb branches of 3d N=4 supersymmetric gauge theories using ideas of “gluing” in the category of affine schemes. In particular, this gives us a new understanding of how to build the Coulomb branches for quiver gauge theories by gluing together quivers.
