We invited PhD students and research staff to submit an image and an accompanying narrative that effectively engages and communicates their research project to a non-specialist audience. The deadline for submissions was Monday, 3 March 2025 at 17:00.
A panel of judges will shortlist the best images and select the prize winners. The shortlisted candidates will be announced during the week commencing 17 March. These images will be displayed on the Faculty’s website, where Imperial members can vote for their favorite image for the People’s Choice Prize.
The shortlisted images will be exhibited from the morning at the College Main Entrance on Exhibition Road in South Kensington, allowing Imperial members and the public to view them. A short awards ceremony with a drinks reception will then take place in the evening from 16:00 -18:00. Professor Richard Craster, Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences will present the prizes.
