Title: A Martingale characterization of the sine-Gordon QFT
Abstract
I will present a martingale characterisation of the sine-Gordon Euclidean quantum field theory. In the finite volume or for small couplings, this characterisation uniquely determines the measure and thus may be used as a working definition. The result builds on previous work using a forward backward equation to implement the renormalisation group of the interacting theory.
I will not assume any prior knowledge and start by giving a general outline of the kind of questions we are interested in studying and explain the idea behind the forward backward approach.
This is joint work in progress with Massimiliano Gubinelli.
