As part of Women at Imperial Week, the Department of Chemical Engineering is pleased to host Clementine Vaughan, registered dietician with Third Sisters, to speak openly on a topic that, historically, has been somewhat of a taboo whilst impacting many in our team, and beyond.

Mastering the Menopause: From Chaos to Confidence
Join us for an empowering session as we navigate the essentials of menopause, from the “zone of chaos” that is perimenopause to life beyond post-menopause. Discover the key changes happening in your body and learn practical lifestyle choices to make this transition smoother and more manageable. We’ll finish with an open Q&A to tackle all your questions. This will be an essential guide to understanding and thriving through menopause.

About the speaker
Clementine is a Registered Dietitian with years of experience working in the food & beverage and FoodTech industries. She has a special interest in women’s health nutrition but core to this is her passion of teaching people how to best optimize their health through food.

Attendance and asking questions
This event is open to all staff within the Department of Chemical Engineering.

We strongly encourage attendance from across our staff cohort, including colleagues who would not ordinarily experience menopause but may work alongside those who do.

This will be an afternoon of knowledge gathering and information sharing. There will also be an opportunity to engage in a Q&A with the speaker.

Colleagues are encouraged to feel comfortable to ask as many questions as they like – we have also created a short form to submit questions anonymously, if preferred. The speaker will answer these on the day.

Schedule:
12:00 – 12:30 GMT: Light nibbles/networking
12:30 – 13:30 GMT: Mastering the Menopause: From Chaos to Confidence | Clementine Vaughan
