Following the success of our first pilot session held at the end of the 2024 summer series, the next Cardiac Function Seminar Series PhD Students talk session will be held at the end of this Spring term seminar series taking place on Thursday 20th March.
The session will see two of our Cardiac Function PhD Students present their projects, independent of the mandatory LSR, to our seminar members.
There will be opportunity for discussion following the presentations of each talk.
The running order and details of the session are as follows:
Speaker 1: Gabrielle Johnston – Mapping myocardial structure using electrograms and deep learning (ICL/Rasheda Chowdhury)
Speaker 2: Sibo Lyu – Investigating the role of PDE4A and filamin A interaction using bioinformatically designed Disruptor Peptide in healthy and failing ventricular cardiomyocytes (ICL/Julia Gorelik)
Talk Time: 12:30 – 13:30 UK time

Please note the seminar organizers and the Head of Section would like to request that attendees will in the majority of cases be physically present in the seminar room and a participation via Teams shall be the exception.
