Empower - Connecting Black Researchers in the UK

Imperial College’s Black Doctoral Network is hosting ‘Empower – Connecting Black Researchers in the UK’, an event created by students that aims to connect Black and Black heritage researchers in the UK which will take place on Thursday 29th May from 13:00-19:00 at the Imperial College London’s South Kensington campus.

What to expect:

  • Panel talks from Black professionals on their PhD and post-PhD experiences
  • ⁠⁠Interactive workshops focused on building careers during and after academia
  • Poster session with cash prizes showcasing research projects from around the country
  • Networking opportunities with overflowing food and drinks

Call for Research Posters – Empower: Connecting Black Researchers in the UK

Are you a Black or Black heritage Master’s student, PhD researcher, or early career academic eager to showcase your research? Apply to present your work at the Empower – Connecting Black Researchers in the UK event!

We invite submissions from all disciplines – whether you’re in STEM, social sciences, humanities, arts, or beyond. This is your chance to:
