Imperial’s schools space showcase will feature an afternoon of Continual Professional Development for upper primary and lower secondary teachers (KS2-3) all about the rapidly growing space sector.
Learn how you can easily incorporate careers education about the truly diverse range of space careers now available into your lessons. You’ll be given free printed careers postcards and guides from Imperial’s I’m a Space Person project to take back to your school. Recently used by the UK Space Agency in their national tour, these resources are all based on the latest educational research and help young people and their parents/carers realise anyone can work in the space sector.
You’ll also hear about some of the most exciting developments in space being worked on at Imperial right now and how you can tie these into your curriculum topics.
